Carl Reid had been very busy working and fundraising for his friend. His friend unfortunately lost his wife to cancer this year. The loss left very young children behind. They now have to cope without their mum. Besides working as a supporting actor on Coronation Street. He felt surprised when they chose him for the June 2024 edition of the Cheshire Life magazine.
All thanks go to Joanne from ITV for putting him forward to be in the article. Carl was super pleased and humbled for this opportunity. He was looking forward to being amongst the other members of the cast from the cobbles.
A meeting took place at Morleys tea rooms in Wilmslow. The attendees discussed two new projects. The writers were collaborating and putting the final touches on the book. Music producer Michael Crowe was there with writer Julie Modla and agent and PR Audrey Angus.
The book and the screenplay will be released later this autumn. A comedy called ‘Full English Please’ written by Kezia Davis and Simon Davis, and ‘The Fixer’ written by Michael Crowe and Julie Modla. Both are based on an original idea by Michael Crowe.
