‘A Fool’s Journey’ is about a young man and his search for where he is going with his adventures. Based in the medieval land of Tarot, where the characters were created from an old, rare deck of Victorian romantic cards. The fool, nameless, so everyone can identify with him sets out on a path that leads him to love, lust and temptation and as the soul embarks on his search. He meets characters along the way, see how they persuade him to carry their baggage along with him.
‘To Dance with a Devil’ changes the era to the 1920’s and a new ‘fool’, an entrepreneur decides to open his very own art gallery. After borrowing an excessive amount of money, to fund his enterprise he becomes embroiled in a sinister cult, as in his haste and hunger he signs on the dotted line. With great consequences.
He explores his own moral compass as he is thrown onto a path of his own self worth and depravity. He is torn between what is right or wrong. Has everyone got a price where they would dance with a devil for financial gain?
‘The Temperance Tale’ Just as those strangers who sat together on a train that day, were travelling. Characters: Samuel who had risen from the slums of Manchester. His drive and charm had enabled him to climb high on the ladder of success. A self-made man, or was he? Cyril had quite an unusual job. He had finally found his vocation. Not one for the faint hearted. Lady Eleanor, a recluse was about to hit the headlines, a scandal would destroy many in high places. Alice, full of love, an actress and dancer with an agenda. Betrayed by the one she adored most. Forced to spend time in each other’s company, they had more in common than they had originally thought. Each one with a belief that they had been deeply wronged. That an injustice card had been dealt to them.
All acting out their roles in a search for self discovery.
